  • 1 pound chicken livers
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (called for 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups cooked rice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Chop bacon and saute wth onion

  • Step 2: Meanwhile flour the livers,seasoning flour with salt and pepper, reserving flour

  • Step 3: Add spices to onion

  • Step 4: Add livers cook until browned

  • Step 5: Add water

  • Step 6: Cover simmer 30 minutes until livers tender,you may not have to cook as long

  • Step 7: Mix in mustard and 2 tablespoons flour to cream

  • Step 8: Stir in simmer until thickened

  • Step 9: Serve over rice
