Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces dry fettuccine pasta noodles (4 cups )
  • 650 grams raw shrimp (about 2 cups med shrimp or use how much you want)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • FOR KITTENCAL'S ALFREDO SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced (if you a garlic love use more)
  • 3 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (more to season at the end of cooking)
  • Cayenne pepper, pinch
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (33-35%, or for a thinner sauce use 1 1/2 cups heavy cream and 1/2 cup light cream)
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (can use more)
  • Salt or seasoned salt
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded (lightly-packed, or shredded Kraft 4-Cheese Italiano blend)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Begin cooking your fettuccine pasta noodles to your liking.

  • Step 2: Add 1 tablespoon butter into a non-stick pan or skillet.

  • Step 3: Once butter melted and almost brown, add your shrimp.

  • Step 4: Cook the shrimp and set aside.

  • Step 5: Add the remaining butter for the sauce.

  • Step 6: Saute the garlic for about 2 minutes making sure that you do not burn garlic.

  • Step 7: Add flour, pepper, cayenne, and stir for about a minute or so.

  • Step 8: Add your heavy cream, turn down the heat and simmer for about two minutes, until thick.

  • Step 9: Mix in your cheeses and melt.

  • Step 10: Toss in your fettuccine and shrimp.

  • Step 11: Serve optionally with garlic bread on the side and garnish with your favorite herb such as parsley or basil.
