The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds chicken legs (raw)
  • 2 pounds chicken thighs (raw)
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick )
  • 1/16 teaspoon saffron
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 3 lemons, whole
  • 2 cups chicken broth

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown chicken in butter. Season, then brown a little more

  • Step 2: Add 2 of the lemons juice, then add chicken broth

  • Step 3: Half way up chicken you are braising it

  • Step 4: Maintain this level of liquid for 45 minutes

  • Step 5: Slice lemon and put on top of meat half way through
