Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • FOR MEATLOAF
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onions,chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup​ bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon worcesterhire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, smashed
  • FOR MUSHROOM GRAVY
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 16 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups beef stock
  • 1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet Browning Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcesterhire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all ingredients in large bowl for meat loaf

  • Step 2: Put in large bread pan

  • Step 3: Bake in 350 degree oven for 90 minutes

  • Step 4: Let set for 5 minutes while making gravy

  • Step 5: Prepare the gravy.

  • Step 6: In a saucepan melt butter with oil.

  • Step 7: Sauté the mushrooms, stirring, until tender and browned and the liquid has evaporated.

  • Step 8: Stir in flour until well blended. And lightly browned

  • Step 9: Add the beef stock

  • Step 10: And continue cooking, stirring, until thickened.

  • Step 11: Add the Kitchen Bouquet and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Step 12: Continue simmering, uncovered, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes.

  • Step 13: Taste and add salt and pepper, as needed.

  • Step 14: Spoon the gravy over the sliced meatloaf
