How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring large saucepan of water to boil. Plunge the 2 medium tomatoes in the water

  • Step 2: And hold them there for about 1 min. Remove the tomatoes from the water and hold them under cold running water to remove the skins.

  • Step 3: Cut the tomatoes horizontally and remove the seeds. Coarsely chop the tomatoes.

  • Step 4: In a mixing bowl

  • Step 5: Combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder.

  • Step 6: Add the beaten egg, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and cheese, stirring to coat the tomatoes.

  • Step 7: Shape the mixture into pattties or balls, and deep fry in hot oil for about 30 seconds on each side or until golden.

  • Step 8: Drain on paper towels
