  • 2 pounds ground beef (chuck)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (or salsa or spaghetti sauce)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (or paprika )
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder (or 1/2 onion, chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar (compacted)
  • 2 teaspoons mustard

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 2: Mix all meatloaf ingredients well and place into a 9"x5" loaf pan.

  • Step 3: Mix all topping ingredients well and spread on top.

  • Step 4: Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes or until 165F internally.

  • Step 5: Let sit for 15 minutes, remove the meatloaf and place on a plate for slicing.
