  • 3 3/4 ounces dark (bittersweet) chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • Whipped (heavy) cream (garnish)
  • Grated chocolate (garnish)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a saucepan over very low heat add eh chocolate and milk and cook stirring until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth.

  • Step 2: In a bowl beat egg yolks with the sugar and then stir the egg mixture into the melted chocolate mixture and warm over low heat until slightly thickened.

  • Step 3: In a separate bowl whisk the egg whites until very still. Remove chocolate mixture from heat and fold it into the egg whites.

  • Step 4: Divide mixture among individual serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour or until set. Decorate with whipped cream and grated chocolate.
