  • 1 teaspoon instant dried minced onion
  • 1 can (6 ounces) mushrooms, chopped (drained)
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped parsley (fresh)
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • FOR WHITE SAUCE
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Make white sauce by combining butter and flour add milk and cook until thickened. Add to rice

  • Step 2: Add everything but topping

  • Step 3: Pour into Pam-sprayed buttered 9x13 casserole

  • Step 4: Top with buttered bread crumbs

  • Step 5: Add almonds

  • Step 6: Bake at 350 for 20 minutes until hot and bubbly
