Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 500 gram salmon fillet (with skin left on or off, then sliced into 4 portions, the exact weight really doesn't matter)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
  • 4 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tablespoons maple syrup
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat you oven to broil.

  • Step 2: Line a baking sheet with NON-STICK FOIL then spray with cooking spray, this sticks like heck!

  • Step 3: If using skin-on salmon place the salmon pieces skin-side down on the pan.

  • Step 4: In a small bowl mix together the chili powder, paprika, brown sugar and salt.

  • Step 5: Generously sprinkle the chili powder mixture over top of salmon pieces.

  • Step 6: Broil for 6-9 minutes, depending on how thick your portions are and how crispy you prefer the crust.

  • Step 7: Remove salmon from oven and brush with the maple syrup over the tops to coat the spice rub. Return to oven and broil for additional 1-2 minutes until the maple syrup is bubbling and has formed a crust. Serve immediately
