Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F
Step 2: Grease a 15x10x1 inch baking pan and set aside
Step 3: In a large saucepan, melt the 1 cup butter and the unsweetened chocolate over low heat.
Step 4: Remove from heat and stir in the eggs, sugar, and vanilla till combined
Step 5: Stir in flour
Step 6: Spread mixture in prepared pan and bake for 25 min. Let cool
Step 7: Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine powdered sugar and the 1/2 cup butter. Beat on low speed till combined
Step 8: Gradually add the cream, and the 1/4 cup sherry, mixing well.
Step 9: Stir in nuts
Step 10: Spread over crust and chill until firm
Step 11: In a small saucepan, melt chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in the remaining sherry till smooth.
Step 12: Drizzle chocolate mixture over chilled bars and chill till set, but not firm
Step 13: Score bars with a knife to outline bars and chill till firm (this will make cutting easier)
Step 14: Cut into bars
