Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 can (14 ounce) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate piece
  • 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°.

  • Step 2: For CRUST, in large bowl, beat Butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add Sugar and Salt; beat until combined.

  • Step 3: Add Flour; beat on low speed until combined. Press two-thirds of the crust mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

  • Step 4: For FILLING, in medium saucepan, combine Sweetened Condensed Milk and Chocolate Chips. Cook and stir over low heat until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat; stir in Nuts and Vanilla.

  • Step 5: Spread filling over unbaked crust. Sprinkle with remaining crust mixture.

  • Step 6: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
