Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl beat butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.
Step 3: Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt. Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.
Step 4: Beat in egg, milk, and vanilla until combined.
Step 5: Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour with a wooden spoon.
Step 6: Stir in chocolate pieces, peanuts, and chopped peanut butter cups.
Step 7: Drop dough by generously rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Step 8: Bake about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Step 9: Transfer cookies to a wire rack and let cool.
