Step 1: In a large mixing bowl beat butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed about 30 seconds or until combined.
Step 2: Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.
Step 3: Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.
Step 4: Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined.
Step 5: Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour.
Step 6: Stir in rolled oats and peanuts.
Step 7: Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Step 8: Bake in a 375F oven about 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Step 9: Transfer cookies to wire rack and let cool.
