Step 1: Cube Angle food cake and set aide
Step 2: Puree 8 of the peaches
Step 3: Slice remaining peaches and set aside
Step 4: Add peach puree, sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch to a saucepan. Cook over medium heat till thickened. You can adjust consistency by adding a bit of water. Mixture should have the consistency of pudding or pie filling
Step 5: To assemble place a layer of the cubed cake in the bottom of a deep casserole dish, top with (in order) 1/2 peach puree, 1 half sliced peaches and 1/2 cool whip
Step 6: Repeat layer
Step 7: Use the back of spoon to texture top of desert, either with soft peaks or swirls
Step 8: Keep in fridge until serving time
