  • 2 cups water, boiling
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 7 cups water, cold
  • 1 can (12 ounce) frozen concentrated orange juice (unsweetened)
  • 1 can (12 ounce) frozen concentrated lemonade
  • 5 cups whisky (rye)
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) lemon-lime soda
  • 2 oranges (thinly sliced)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Steep tea in boiling water for 30 minutes; strain and cool.

  • Step 2: In large plastic container with lid, combine tea with sugar and cold water, stirring to dissolve sugar.

  • Step 3: Add juice concentrates and whisky; cover tightly and freeze overnight or until slushy.

  • Step 4: Blend frozen slush and soda in chilled punch bowl and garnish with orange slices.
