  • 8 ounces bacon
  • 2 pounds sauerkraut (drained)
  • 1 jar (15 ounces) applesauce (unsweetened)
  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (grainy)
  • 1 tablespoons parsley, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 6 (24 ounces) boneless pork chops (4 ounces each)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Dice bacon & saute until crisp.

  • Step 2: Drain on paper towels.

  • Step 3: Mix bacon, sauerkraut,applesauce, sugar, mustard, wine, and seasoning.

  • Step 4: Saute seasoned chops on both sides until golden-brown in the oil and bacon grease

  • Step 5: Place chops on top of bacon mixture in a casserole dish.

  • Step 6: Cover & bake at 350 F for 1 1/2 hours
