Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large soup pot over medium heat.
Step 2: Add onions, carrots, celery and garlic.
Step 3: Cook and stir until veggies begin to soften, about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Add thyme, marjoram, tarragon and turmeric; mix well.
Step 5: Add broth, lemon juice, bay leaves, lemon zest, salt and pepper; bring to a boil.
Step 6: Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 7: Add orzo and simmer for 5 more minutes.
Step 8: Add chicken and simmer 5 more minutes.
Step 9: Remove from heat and stir in parsley.
Step 10: Serve hot.
