Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups carrots ,chopped
  • 1 shallot ,minced
  • 1 leek,cleaned, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celeriac, chopped
  • 1 cup onions,chopped
  • 6 cups potatoes, chopped
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 128 grams rye bread (4 slices ,cubed, use a dense bread)
  • 6 ounces smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 4 ounces bacon, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (they said use heavy hand ,do it to your taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat butter

  • Step 2: Add onions,leek and shallots. Add carrots and celeriac

  • Step 3: Add stock, potatoes, meats and add bread

  • Step 4: Simmer for 30 minutes until veggies cooked (Use a potato masher to give it a creamy look just a couple because you want to see chunks in it also)
