Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups peaches, coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cups ice
  • 1 peach, cut into 8 wedges (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a medium saucepan, add the peaches, 4 cups water & sugar.

  • Step 2: Bring to a boil over medium high heat, reduce heat to medium low, simmer for 3 minutes.

  • Step 3: Carefully pour mixture into a food processor and let stand for 20 minutes.

  • Step 4: Process until smooth.

  • Step 5: Pour into a large container and refrigerate for at least 3 hours

  • Step 6: Press the puree through a sieve into a large container, reserving the liquid and discarding the solids.

  • Step 7: Pour peach juice into a pitcher and add lemon juice.

  • Step 8: Stir until combined.

  • Step 9: Taste and add 1/4 to 1/2 cup water to dilute if needed

  • Step 10: Serve adding ice to glasses and topping with peach lemonade

  • Step 11: Garnish with a peach wedge if desired.
