Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 large tomato, peeled
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 4 cups tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, fresh
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • Tabasco sauce to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Chop vegetables and place in blender along with 1 cup tomato juice, parsley, garlic, vinegar and salt

  • Step 2: Blend until smooth

  • Step 3: Pour into pitcher

  • Step 4: Add remaining tomato juice, pepper, Tabasco sauce and more salt to taste

  • Step 5: Cover and refrigerated till well chilled, stir well and adjust seasoning if needed

  • Step 6: Serve over ice with celery stalks for stirrers
