Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 440 gram cooked udon noodles (shelf-fresh packet)
  • 1/3 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 500 grams ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste (fresh)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 400 grams cabbage, coarsely chopped (green)
  • 5 green spring onions, thinly sliced diagonally

How to Make

  • Step 1: Prepare noodles according to packet directions and then drain.

  • Step 2: Combine sauces and mirin in a small jug and mix well.

  • Step 3: Heat a lightly oiled, large, non-stick wok over a high heat and add pork and stir-fry for about 8 minutes, or until well-browned.

  • Step 4: Add ginger, garlic, cabbage and onions to wok with pork and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  • Step 5: Add noodles and sauce mixture and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes, or until noodles are hot and serve.
