Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup orange (or lime juice)
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 pound shrimp (raw large shrimp, peeled and deveined)
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1/2-inch wedges and split apart
  • 2 limes, cut into very thin wedges (16 per lime)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In medium non-metallic bowl, thoroughly combine orange or lime juice, garlic salt and the lemon pepper.

  • Step 2: Alternately thread shrimp, onion slices and lime wedges onto skewers, generously brush with marinade mixture.

  • Step 3: Grill over medium heat until shrimp turn opaque and pink, about 5 minutes.

  • Step 4: Brush with marinade, turning once during grilling.

  • Step 5: Serve with hot pepper sauce, if desired.
