Step 2: Alternately thread shrimp, onion slices and lime wedges onto skewers, generously brush with marinade mixture.
Step 3: Grill over medium heat until shrimp turn opaque and pink, about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Brush with marinade, turning once during grilling.
Step 5: Serve with hot pepper sauce, if desired.
