  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley (fresh)
  • 5 1/2 tablespoons minced ginger root (fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons sherry
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
  • 2 large garlic clove
  • 4 pounds beef flank steak

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix first 13 ingredients in large bowl. Divide marinade mixture between 2 large shallow baking dishes.

  • Step 2: Add steaks to marinade, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  • Step 3: Grill steaks to desired degree of doneness, about 8 minutes on each side.

  • Step 4: Heat marinade in saucepan.

  • Step 5: Cut steaks diagonally into thin slices. Pour some marinade over meat.

  • Step 6: Garnish with cilantro and serve.
