Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons green Chinese tea (or 4 tea bags)
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 sprigs fresh mint
  • Mint leaves, for garnish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place tea leaves or tea bags in a teapot with boiling water.

  • Step 2: Let tea steep for 5 minutes.

  • Step 3: While steeping, slice oranges and lemons and place at the bottom of a heat-resistant pitcher. Pour, or if using loose tea, strain tea into pitcher.

  • Step 4: Stir in sugar and mint leaves.

  • Step 5: Chill for at least 1 hour.

  • Step 6: Serve in tall glasses filled with ice.

  • Step 7: Garnish with mint leaves.
