Step 1: Make 4 shots of espresso.
Step 2: Place a scoop of ice cream in each bowl. Pour espresso over ice cream.
Step 3: Add Bailey's or Frangelico, if using.
Step 4: Serve immediately.
Step 5: NOTES:
Step 6: If you do not have an espresso maker, you can substitute 3 tablespoons strong brewed coffee, or add 1 tablespoon espresso powder to 1/2 cup boiling water.
Step 7: Either pour the espresso over the ice cream and serve immediately, or serve the espresso on the side and let your guests pour it on themselves.
