  • 2 1/2 pounds peaches (6 peaches, skinned, pitted and halved)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup wine (ice wine)
  • 1 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a sauce pan combine water, sugar and ice wine.

  • Step 2: Simmer over low heat and until the sugar has dissolved.

  • Step 3: Cook syrup for 3 additional minutes, take off the heat and set aside until needed.

  • Step 4: In a glass bowl, place peach halves and pour ice wine syrup on top and refrigerate to allow the flavors to mix.
