Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (14 ounce) sauerkraut
  • 150 grams ham (1 cup, cooked, chopped)
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 apple, unpeeled, cubed (red)
  • Salt and pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Rinse sauerkraut in a colander and drain well. Place in serving bowl.

  • Step 2: Add ham, celery, green pepper and onion.

  • Step 3: Combine sugar, and vinegar in a small bowl. Stir until sugar is almost dissolved. Add apples and toss well, pour over sauerkraut.

  • Step 4: Toss and season to taste with salt and pepper.

  • Step 5: Serve chilled.
