Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 12 (275 grams) tart shells (mini, frozen sweet tart cases, 12 to a packet)
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts (coarsely chopped)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 25 grams unsalted butter (melted)
  • Icing sugar, to decorate

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place tart cases on an oven tray and divide the nuts among cases.

  • Step 2: Whisk together eggs, sugar and butter in a medium jug until combined and spoon about 1 tbsp mixture into each case.

  • Step 3: Cook in a moderate oven (180C) for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until filling is set and pastry is golden.

  • Step 4: Cool completely on tray.

  • Step 5: Just before serving, dust with sifted icing sugar.
