Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers
  • 3 cloves roasted garlic, roasted
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • Pinch cayenne
  • Salt and pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Hummus ... Add the beans, red peppers, garlic, lemon juice, tahini, basil, cayenne, to a food processor and pulse until smooth. Season with salt and pepper and pulse one last time.

  • Step 2: Serve ... I like to refrigerate a few hours to develop the flavors before serving. It can be served chilled or room temperature. Enjoy with pita chips, crackers, or vegetables. ENJOY!
