Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (12 ounce) dry wide egg noodles
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple (in juice, drained)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (divided - or margarine)
  • 2 cups crushed frosted flakes cereal (Kellogg's brand)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, then generoulsy grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

  • Step 2: Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.

  • Step 3: Using an electric mixer mix cream cheese and next 3 ingredients until smooth and well combined (start with 1 cup of sugar adding in more if needed).

  • Step 4: Stir in pineapple until well combined.

  • Step 5: Stir together the cooked egg noodles with 1/4 cup melted butter, and cream cheese mixture.

  • Step 6: Transfer into baking dish.

  • Step 7: Stir together cereal, cinnamon, and remaining 1/4 cup melted butter; sprinkle over noodle mixture.

  • Step 8: Bake at 45 to 50 minutes or just until set.
