Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar
  • 7 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 package hurusame noodles, 7 ounces
  • 1 1/2 cups english cucumber, peel on, thin sliced
  • 1/2 cup carrot grated
  • 1 egg hard boiled, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ham, cubed 1/4 inch cube

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the vinegar,sugar, soy sauce, salt, ginger, dijon in a saucepan , bring to a boil, do not stir until it boils - set aside to cool

  • Step 2: Bring a pot of water to boiling and immerse the harusame noodles for 3 to 4 minutes. They are cooked when there are no white streaks and they are pliable

  • Step 3: Drain the noodles and rinse them in cold water

  • Step 4: Artistically place the cucumber, carrot, chopped egg and ham in individual bowls, pour in the dressing, serve and enjoy
