Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped (medium onion, chopped, 1/2 cup)
  • 1 envelope (1.25 ounces) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can (4 ounce) chopped green chiles (drained)
  • 60 grams Bisquick Baking Mix (Original Bisquick, 1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 ounces Monterey Jack cheese (or Cheddar cheese, shredded, 3/4 cup)
  • Salsa, if desired
  • Sour cream, if desired

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 400°F. Grease pie plate, 9 X 1 1/4 inches. Cook beef and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in seasoning mix (dry). Spread in pie plate. Top with chilies,

  • Step 2: Stir Bisquick, milk and eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate.

  • Step 3: Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serve with salsa and sour cream.
