  • 245 grams pumpkin puree (1 cup canned, not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 60 grams Bisquick Baking Mix (Original Bisquick, 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon margarine (or butter, softened)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • FOR SPICED TOPPING
  • 96 grams frozen whipped topping (thawed, 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F. Grease pie plate, 9 X 1 1/4 inches.

  • Step 2: Stir all ingredients except topping until blended. Pour into pie plate.

  • Step 3: Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

  • Step 4: To make spiced topping stir together ingredients until smooth.

  • Step 5: Cut pie into slices. Garnish each serving with spiced topping. You can add a pecan halve on each slice if desired.
