Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 20 grams butter, melted and cooled
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup pure cream
  • 350 grams plums,4 medium and halved and stones removed
  • Icing sugar mixture, to serve
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced.

  • Step 2: Grease a 6 cup-capacity ceramic baking dish.

  • Step 3: Combine flour, sugar and eggs in a bowl and stir to combine and then add butter, milk and cream and whisk to combine.

  • Step 4: Place plums, cut side up, in prepared dish and add flour mixture and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until just set.

  • Step 5: Stand for 2 minutes and dust with icing sugar and serve with ice-cream.
