  • 1 cup grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/8 pound margarine
  • 1/2 pound velveeta
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 egg,beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: In double boiler cook grits in water for 30 minutes

  • Step 2: When cooked add oleo, cheese ,milk and salt

  • Step 3: When cheese is melted

  • Step 4: Pour into a shallow greased,pam sprayed casserole

  • Step 5: Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees until browned lightly (check at 30 minutes )
