Step 1: Preheat oven to 400-degrees F.
Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk eggs, milk and salt. Whisk flour into egg mixture until blended. Let stand for 30 minutes.
Step 3: Meanwhile, cook sausage according to the package directions; cut each sausage into three pieces.
Step 4: Place the oil in a 12-inch nonstick ovenproof skillet. Place in the oven 3-4 minutes or until hot.
Step 5: Stir batter and pour into prepared skillet; top with sausage.
Step 6: Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Remove from skillet; cut into wedges.
Step 7: If desired, serve with butter and syrup.
