  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs ( whole eggs slightly beaten)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a saucepan over medium heat add lemon juice, zest, butter and sugar bring to a low boil and stir

  • Step 2: Stir part of the hot mixture to the eggs to temper, whisking well

  • Step 3: Add tempered mixture back into the pan, cooking and stirring until thick ened

  • Step 4: Place in 2 clean jars, when cool add lid and refrigerate.
