Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Sweet roll dough (1 loaf of frozen sweet roll dough, I make my Feather Bread recipe #recipe127 using 3 tablespoons sugar)
  • 2 apples ( large apples cut in sixths)
  • 3/4 to 1 cup sugar (sweet apples take less sugar)
  • 1 cup cream (or 1 cup half and half)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How to Make

  • Step 1: Line a 11 by 7 greased baking pan with parchment paper, preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 2: If using the frozen dough thaw according to directions, if using Feather Bread use the 3 tablespoons sugar using the dough cycle on your bread maker.

  • Step 3: Divide dough to about 12 pieces and form around the apple pieces.

  • Step 4: Put the dough topped apple balls in a butter greased baking dish slightly touching, rise for half an hour.

  • Step 5: Mix cream and sugar together and pour over top of dough, sprinkle with cinnamon.

  • Step 6: Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
