  • 4 ounces sliced bacon (4 strips, chopped)
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3.7 gram beef bouillon cube (1 cube)
  • 2 pounds green beans (tipped and tailed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large stock pot

  • Step 2: Melt butter and saute mushrooms

  • Step 3: When tender

  • Step 4: Take out and reserve for later

  • Step 5: Cook bacon in same pot

  • Step 6: Add onion

  • Step 7: Cook until tender

  • Step 8: Mix in bouillon then flour

  • Step 9: Add seasonings

  • Step 10: Add water and beans

  • Step 11: Cook until just tender

  • Step 12: Fold in mushrooms
