Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 60 grams dates, pitted (4 fresh dates)
  • 2 bananas, frozen and chopped
  • 450 grams strawberries, frozen (3 cups)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 430 ml almond milk (1 1/4 cups)
  • 250 grams strawberries, fresh and halved
  • 1 cup almond, toasted and chopped (160 grams)
  • 1/4 cup goji berries, finely chopped (35 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons black chia seeds

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the dates in a small bowl and cover with boiling water and set aside for 10 minutes to soak and then drain and place in a blender, adding the banana, frozen strawberries, ice, cinnamon, vanilla and milk and blend until smooth.

  • Step 2: Divide the smoothie mixture between bowls and top with the fresh strawberries, almond and goji berries and sprinkle with chia seeds to serve.
