Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds broccoli (trimmed and cut into florets)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat broiler to high.

  • Step 2: Line a rimmed cookie sheet with foil.

  • Step 3: On the cookie sheet toss broccoli with 1 1/2 tablespoons oil, spreading the broccoli in an even layer. broil, stirring once until charred (10 minutes). Transfer to a serving dish.

  • Step 4: In a skillet over low heat and 1 1/2 tablespoons oil along with the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook stirring until garlic is browned and fragrant (3-5 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in the vinegar and salt if desired. Drizzle over the broccoli and toss.
