Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces sliced bacon (4 slices)
  • 1 tablespoons bacon fat
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 shallot,minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 pound baby spinach
  • 2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, grated
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: In skillet cook bacon. Remove but keep 1 tablespoons of the bacon grease

  • Step 2: Add butter and shallots

  • Step 3: Add garlic cook until lightly browned

  • Step 4: Add spinach. Wilt down

  • Step 5: Add nutmeg and stock. Simmer for 15 minutes

  • Step 6: Use stick blender to make smooth add cream and simmer ,dont boil for 10 minutes

  • Step 7: Take off heat and stir in cheese

  • Step 8: Garnish with the reserved bacon
