Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion (minced ,medium )
  • 1 tablespoon green bell pepper, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 1/2 pounds potatoes (6 potatoes, peeled, sliced thinly, medium )
  • 1 can (16 ounce) salmon, undrained
  • 1 cup potato chips, crushed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter and saute onions and pepper

  • Step 2: Cook until tender

  • Step 3: Add seasonings and cornstarch to milk and juice from salmon

  • Step 4: Pour into onions and cook until thickened

  • Step 5: In 9x13 casserole dish, spray Pam. Layer potatoes pour some sauce put salmon sauce and rest of potatoes. Sauce on top

  • Step 6: Cover and bake in 425 degree oven

  • Step 7: Uncover and put chips on top bake 15 more minutes until hot and bubbly and potatoes done
