Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 can (15 ounce) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup enchilada sauce (or salsa)
  • 4 ounces dry egg noodles
  • 1 cup water, as needed
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • Mozzarella cheese, for garnish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown ground beef with garlic and onion. Add tomatoes and spices and reduce heat to simmer.

  • Step 2: Add egg noodles and just enough water so that noodles are covered. Add bouillon cube and stir well.

  • Step 3: Put cover on and let simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring at least once, until noodles reach desired tenderness. Turn skillet off.

  • Step 4: Serve garnished with shredded mozarella cheese
