Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 28 ounce head cabbage (1 small head)
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • TO SAUTE
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 6 ounces ramen noodles (two 3 ounce packages, discard seasoning packets)
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • FOR DRESSING:
  • 1/2 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Shred cabbage and chop onion.

  • Step 2: Melt butter in skillet over medium heat and sauté noodles, almonds and sesame seeds until golden brown. Remove and drain on a brown paper bag. Cool.

  • Step 3: Immediately before serving, whisk together dressing ingredients and toss with cabbage and noodles.
