Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces hot dogs (1/2 of a 16 ounce package weiners)
  • 1 can (8 ounce) sauerkraut, undrained
  • 3.6 ounce beef bouillon cube (1 cube dissolved in 1 cup water)
  • 85 grams potato (1/2 russet potato, finely grated)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bake weiners at 350° for 30 minutes. Cut into bite size pieces and set aside.

  • Step 2: In skillet, saute onion in butter until slightly tender. Add remaining ingredients (except weiners). Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add cooked weiners and simmer another 10 minutes.
