Step 1: Boil cider for 30 minutes, then cook the apples in boiling cider until tender, 20 minutes or so.
Step 2: Remove the apples to a large pot and mash. Add spices and stir over medium-low heat until mixture becomes a soft paste.
Step 3: Remove from heat. Seal in jars and store in a cool, dry place.
