  • 10 cups water
  • 1/4 cup parsley, minced
  • 1 cup celery, chopped, leaves too
  • 1 onion,chopped ,large
  • 2 turnips, medium, quartered
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 cup lima beans
  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 carrots, sliced, medium
  • 1 cup cauliflower, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup rice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil Turkey carcass and water,turnips,onion and bay leaf For 2 hours,

  • Step 2: Remove Turkey frame and bay leaf

  • Step 3: Take off meat

  • Step 4: Add back to stock

  • Step 5: Add rice

  • Step 6: Add all the vegetables

  • Step 7: And spices

  • Step 8: Simmer for 1 more hour covered

  • Step 9: Until veggies are cooked
