Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound beef liver (sliced thin)
  • 8 ounces sliced bacon (8 slices)
  • 1 onion, sliced thinly (large )
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (it called for a cup for dredging, I season flour and they probably did also)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups brown gravy
  • 1/2 cup water, optional
  • Salt, dash
  • Pepper, dash
  • Parsley, dash (they used for garnish so probably 1 tablespoon, minced would be more accurate)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook bacon ,they are topping liver at last so you could leave whole or crumble

  • Step 2: Take out and leave a tablespoon of grease add butter

  • Step 3: Dredge the liver

  • Step 4: And fry until browned on each side

  • Step 5: Add onions 1/2 way through

  • Step 6: They probably used gravy in jar and washed out jar with water so I'm putting in that option

  • Step 7: Pour in gravy

  • Step 8: Season with salt pepper, and parsley to taste

  • Step 9: Cook 2 more minutes until hot and bubbly and thickened

  • Step 10: Arrange on serving dish and top liver with bacon
