Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • FOR CRUST
  • 180 grams Bisquick Baking Mix (1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/3 cup water
  • FOR MORNAY SAUCE
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 30 grams Bisquick Baking Mix (1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup light cream
  • 8 ounces swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • FOR FILLING
  • 250 grams cooked turkey meat (chopped, 2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup celery , minced
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1 tablespoons water
  • 1 egg yolk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 400 degrees

  • Step 2: Make sauce:

  • Step 3: Heat butter in saucepan until melted

  • Step 4: Add powder and baking mix and seasonings

  • Step 5: Whisk until smooth and bubbly

  • Step 6: Remove from heat

  • Step 7: Stir in milk ,whisk

  • Step 8: Add cream

  • Step 9: Put back on burner ,heat to boiling

  • Step 10: Take off heat stir in cheese whisk and heat until cheese is melted

  • Step 11: Stir in filling ingredients to 1/2 the mornay mixture

  • Step 12: For the crust mix and roll out to 12 inches

  • Step 13: Place on greased cookie sheet

  • Step 14: Put the filling on 1/2 the crust

  • Step 15: Moisten the edge fold over

  • Step 16: Press with edge of crust

  • Step 17: Cut slit on inside part of pie 5 slits

  • Step 18: Mix egg and water

  • Step 19: Brush over top

  • Step 20: Bake until golden brown 30 minutes

  • Step 21: Serve with hot sauce
